In the News: Moscow Gets a Foot of Snow in a Day

The infamous Russian winter strikes again.

Last Tuesday, Moscow received up to 35 centimeters (over 13 inches) of snow in a span of 24 hours. This, according to The Moscow Times, is over half of a month’s average of snowfall in the region. Overall, since the beginning of February, the capital has received 58 centimeters (23 inches) of snowfall.
